Waterborne + Electric Cargo Bike Delivery Service During World Cup 2026

The FIFA World Cup (June 13–July 19) will bring delivery restrictions, road closures, and significant congestion to NYC and NJ, described at nyc.gov/worldcupready and njdotworldcup.nj.gov

If you make regular deliveries into Manhattan from Hunts Point or Red Hook, we have an alternative.

U.S. Coastal Service is partnering with last-mile logistics provider Net Zero Logistics and Empire Clean Cities to offer a waterborne freight + electric cargo quad service for last-mile delivery in traffic-restricted areas. Freight will arrive by ferry at E. 34th Street and be transferred to Fulpra Quatros for final delivery — bypassing the gridlock entirely.

Here’s how it will work:

  • Freight is transported by ferry and received at the E. 34th Street ferry terminal
  • From there, Fulpra Quatros handle last-mile delivery throughout midtown’s restricted zones
  • Service will ramp up during the World Cup period to meet increased demand
